Dr. James H. Bell
Dr. Bell began practicing in Cody, Wyoming at Basin Vision Center in 1991 after graduating from Pacific University's College of Optometry in Oregon. While in school, he received training in all areas of optometry, but took a special interest in working with children. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Wyoming Optometric Association and is active in the American Optometric Association. Dr. Bell is on the Northwest College Alumni Board, the St. Anthony's Church Board, as well as coaching Cody Youth Basketball. He has prepared and given a presentation regarding glaucoma for the Wyoming Optometric Association. Dr. Bell is certified in Corneal Refractive Therapy, Refractive Surgery Co-Management, and Systemic Pharmaceutical Therapy.

Dr. Jonathan Hartley
Dr. Hartley is a Wyoming native who was born and raised in Worland, Wyoming. He earned a Bachelor’s Degree in molecular biology from the University of Wyoming before beginning his formal optometric training. In 2007, Dr. Hartley graduated summa cum laude with a Doctor of Optometry degree from the Southern California College of Optometry in Fullerton, California. He completed his externships at the Optometric Center of Los Angeles, Eye Care Associates of Nevada, and at the Indian Health Hospital in Lawton, Oklahoma. In 2007, he joined Basin Vision Center. Dr. Hartley is a member of the Wyoming Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association. Dr. Hartley has a special interest in pediatric optometry. He targets not only visual acuity, but also functional vision for early readers. He conducts vision screenings with the Children’s Resource Center and Headstart. Dr. Hartley has been married to his wife, Brooke, for six years and they are expecting their first child in January of 2009. They enjoy spending time hiking and fishing in the Beartooth Mountains.

Joelyn
Optician
Joelyn is a Wyoming native who spent six years in Tempe, Arizona attenting Arizona State working towards her Bachelor's Degree. She is the mother of a four year old son. She enjoys riding horses and outdoor activities.
